Biography
I am originally from Louisiana but always wanted to move to Dallas to enjoy what some called the "city life".   Irving, TX became my home in 2001,  embarking on a new path in life,  with determinations of never to look back and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!  I have a daughter who attends University of Texas in Austin studying Math & Science. As her role model, education is an exploration that I strive to bestow upon my students daily.

I joined Lancaster ISD in 2015 as a 2nd grade teacher and I am delighted to be a part of such an invigorating and excelling staff.  My career has included teaching fourth grade Reading/Language Arts, second grade, Reading Specialist and Teacher on Special Assignments for grades Kindergarten, first, second and third grades.

My hobbies include (but are not limited to :)) reading, baking, internet shopping, and relaxing!
